The metamorphosis from an enclosed site to a quirky residential area has begun. This is not yet visible, but hard work is being done in the background on the realization of this ambitious project. The Foodcenter will become more compact and will move to the north side of the area. This creates space for a new part of the city with a unique location.
Location
Whoever lives in Marktkwartier West does not want to leave the neighbourhood. But still: the Westerpark and the Jordaan are within walking distance. Shops and public transport around the corner, good roads nearby. This ambitious project is being realized directly on the Jan van Galenstraat between Jordaan and Westerpark. a project of Volker Wessels Vastgoed and Ballast Nedam Development.
