History
The street was constructed in 1905-1923 and named after Amalia van Solms. House numbers range from 1 to 22. However, the highest odd-numbered house is number 9. The construction started around 1905 with the blocks near the park and gradually moved towards the waterfront. Huisman Jr.; who designed house numbers 7 and 9 were in a streamlined form of the Amsterdam School architectural style.
