LIFE is located in the heart of the Houthaven. In LIFE 59 free sector rental apartments for involved people over 50 are for rent. Here live people who care for and care about each other. Who live life together to the fullest.
In the building you will find a mix of different apartments around a communal courtyard. LIFE was completed at the beginning of 2020. There are still a number of free sector rental properties available.
Open minded
LIFE wants to be a place where everyone can be themselves and live pleasantly and safely, surrounded by like-minded people. That is why, as residents, we are also looking for open-minded people who like to work for each other and for their neighbourhood. Where the neighbor is handy with a job, the neighbor wants to help with language lessons or give drawing lessons as a volunteer at Cordaan, where people have a nice coffee with each other or where residents go to the theater or museum together. In LIFE we are looking for people who enjoy being in the middle of life, but who also value freedom and privacy. People who want to make life a little more fun together with their neighbors.
2 or 3 room apartments
The 59 free sector rental apartments have 2 or 3 rooms ranging in size from 61 to 87 m2 and all have a balcony with a view over the canal or inner garden. All houses are finished to a high standard and are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The homes are designed in such a way that they are life-resistant and grow with a possible future demand for care or the use of, for example, a walker. The houses can be rented immediately.
